When you take out the Google Top 10 Analyse option we will undertake a full analysis of your existing website. We will be looking in particular at the following:

  • Keywords
    • What keywords / key phrases are currently being used?
    • Are they the most appropriate ones?
    • Are they being used effectively?
  • Meta Tags
    • we look at how effective these are set up .
  • Page Content e.g. text / images / etc
    • Is there sufficient text on each page?.
    • Is the text enriched with the relevant keywords?.
    • Do the images contain ALT text?.
  • Links (both inbound and outbound)
    • Are there sufficient inbound links?
    • Are these links set up correctly?.
  • Site Navigation
    • Is this set up properly in order to maximise the number of pages which can be indexed by the search engines?.
  • Site Submission
    • Has the site been submitted to the appropriate search engines and directories?.
  • Frames
    • Does the site use frames? If so, is it set up correctly in order to be properly indexed by the search engines?.
  • Dynamic Sites
    • Is the site database driven?
    • If so, are the pages set up properly so that they may be indexed by the search engines?.

During this Google Top 10 Analyse phase, we may need to ask for access to your log files. This is a vital part of the analysis as it will give us an idea how much traffic your site is receiving and also information about keywords.

On completion of the Google Top 10 Analyse phase, we shall produce a full report of our findings with recommendations on how your site can be optimised to become more search engine friendly.
